Caught up with old posts

Finally, I caught up with November and December posts. I hope to hear from my aunt Candy telling me story about Silly Super Max on Christmas.
Ok, I'm changing some on my blog. I may not be longer using colorful words because I may change different template and color on my blog. Trying to find the way I like to use for my blog.

Blog Updates

I'm working on updating my blog and trying to make it look better than my old blog. I'm trying to learn how to use digital scrapbooking when I can so I'd post it each time to share what's going on. I may load some pictures on digital layout so it'd save my blog time as you know that it takes a long time to load picture. Finally, I found some links I'd add to my blog since I have been firgured out how to do it until I tried to transfer to new blogger from old one which goes faster and I'm not expert with programs like adding or subtracting.
I will post some comments soon. Thanks for being patient with my new blog being processed.

Dragon for parade and dancing. Big Drum! Chinese bang! They are cool for Chinese New Year. I'd like to have dragon puppet myself and want to use it for taking pictures of kids sitting at home so I'd pick which one is the best instead of portrait which costs more if a picture doesn't look good.

Ralph dies

Nancy sent me an email about Ralph's death as whale shark at Georgia Aquarium. It's so sad to hear since Gasper is gone. Sorry, I don't know which one of 4 whale sharks that I have pictures, but I'm sure he is already in my pictures. It was an unexpection death of Ralph yesterday. If I know what he looks like in the picture, I will try to post it. I'm sorry I don't know which picture as I want to post a picture of him for the memory.

I got a cute snowman for sale at Pottery Barn Kids last Saturday. Nancy, thanks for getting it for me!

Max's baby duck towel!

How can you believe that Micaela wears Max's baby duck towel? After she takes a bath, Nancy can't find any kids' towels so she gave her Max's baby towel. So cute to watch her wearing it. Max is 5 years old! It's so hard to believe how time flies.

We go to China town for lunch and shopping around.

I ordered Chicken Soup. Not sure what it is called because it's Vietnamese word. I know my college buddy's husband knows what it's called and he is Vietnamese. Can you help me?

I really like this soup and it's real good. I want to make homemade soup like this.

Micaela wants to keep a bill of our orders, but it's just something like number. So she put it in her pocket. Nancy has to get it for showing the cashier. Then, she gets it back!

After lunch, we went to Asian Flea Market. Julia was really excited that there are a lot of Asian food and told us what some food were. She can't wait until her mom is coming to town soon then she will cook Chinese for us. I can't wait to learn how to cook.

Gasper Dies

Tonight, I just found out that Gasper died last night at Georgia Aquarium when I watched 11Alive News. So, I checked on Georgia Aqaurium website and 11 Alive News. So sad to hear that we lost him. Check on Gasper's news if interested: http://www.georgiaaquarium.org/supportus/gasper_updates.aspx
When I looked at my pictures, it is unbelievable that I took first picture of Gasper when I saw begula whales. Glad I did take some pictures of him because I didn't realize that Gasper was sick during my first and second trip to the aquarium. After I learned that he was suffering from lesions and scars, I didn't see him after my 2nd trip and thought I missed him, but tonight, I saw pictures of him in my pictures and I'm so glad that I did see him.

Georgia Aquarium is going to put a beluga whale sculpture for the memory of Gasper for an entrance plaza. So, it will be a special memory for everyone, staffs, and visitors. I'm planning to do scrapbook an ablum for my trips to Georgia Aquarium and about Gasper. I have been there five times, but my season pass expired recently. So, I may go back there when I can.

Update on Sept 30 story

Hey,

I finally got Nancy to remember what the dinosaur story was about. Check on September 30, 2006 and look for "where is mommy dinosaur?" Can't believe what Max said about Mommy Dinosaur.
Will work on journaling from Micaela's Halloween Party and try to catch up from that date until recently pictures posted.
