Kids sitting with dinosaurs

First, Micaela was sitting on the tan chair and Max was on the white chair, but they took off chairs. I didn't take any pictures in the beginning until I videoed them and took pictures... When Max sat on Micaela's chair, Micaela wanted to get him out, but I wasn't hearing my parents' telling her. Max asked Micaela to share sitting with him, but she wanted to sit alone.

Micaela stared at my parents while they talked.

Micaela saw Max sitting off the table and tried to steal her chair back. Max tried to sit back on the same chair with Micaela as he wanted to share with her. Max is so sweet to share with his baby sister.

So great to watch the kids sharing, sitting and playing together!

Meggie enjoys napping with me

When I asked Meggie if she wants to nap with me on my bed, she is excited and loves to be close to me while we are napping. I have to put her on it since she can't jump. Once, I asked her to jump off, but she moved a little away from me. So, I let her stay and nap with me. Yes, she is spoiled, but I want her to be happy since she is 14 years old.

When I carried two bowls of Brownie Mud Pie Ice Cream with 2 scoops for Max and 3 scoops for myself, Max saw them and wanted my bowl. So, I took Max's bowl, but did add 1 more scoop after I ate. Max only ate two scoops and saved one for later. It already melted.

Max gave a carrot to my mini lop rabbit, Zoe. Zoe's favortie veggie is carrot.

Max loves being silly showing carrots like bunny's teeth. He doesn't eat carrots.. Oh, well!!!

After ice cream, we went to our cousin Heidi's new tonwhouse. The kids love her new place since she has small yard as Max said.

We went to Mexican restaurant with Heidi and his husband JD. Heidi asked Max "what he wants to eat?" Max said "Let me look at it!" Look at his hands holding the menu. I tried to shoot a picture of his face, but he knew and kept hiding the menu from my camera.

Micaela and Max were celebrating the fourth of July while waiting for fireworks. I adore this page and wanted to put it on the wall on frame or clipboard, but I don't want anything to damage it due to sunlight in my scrapbook room.

Micaela's 1st anniversary of Gotcha Day!

Today is Micaela's 1st anniversary of Gotcha Day! She is so blessed to my family and me. I'm so thankful for her to be part of my life. No matter where she comes from. I love to watch her girly actions and sweet personality, but she is stubborn and bossy.... My family and I watched the video tapes of Gotcha Day my parents first saw precious Micaela. It was an emotional and special day for them. Last year, I waited to hear from my Aunt Lisa after my parents called her. Lisa emailed and told me what happened. I was tearing a little because I realized that I have another sister since my sister estranges me. I can't imagine what to do without Micaela. She really needed a wonderful home and parents to take care of her since she was abandoned at orphanage gate. We are a forever family. She is very special!!!

I'm a proud American citizen!

Max is thankful to have Micaela as his baby sister. He doesn't want her to go back to China.

Micaela is Daddy's girl. We were watching the video movies of Micaela's Gotcha Day.

Oh, Brother!

I love my brother.

All Day Crop again!

I had a great time cropping all day, but I was so tired and had a long weekend. I was done with 5 layouts and tried to decide what to put on other layouts.

I want to share with you about my scrap buddy, Julia's comments via email.

Hey Jill! I had so much fun with you yesterday at the all day scrap. I am surprisingly motivated to continue scrapping today... and Tuesday... I am generally exhausted and don't want to look at scrapbook for awhile after such a long day of it. I think the challenges are keeping me motivated too.
Scrapbook Connection was such a nice store. I liked everyone there! They sure kept us fed and watered! I like the scrap desks they had us at too. They seemed to have quite a few different things in stock for purchase that I haven't seen anywhere else before. I think that it is important for little stores to do just that-stock things different from places like Michael's or Archivers other wise shoppers wouldn't need to go to their little store. Also, classes and friendliness of employees is very important. We all need reasons to come regularly...and take classes/ crop! It was an awesome day. I just can't believe I only got 5 1/2 layouts done. LOL. I don't usually take that much time considering my layout's. That is the challenges fault!

Micaela loves to wear different shoes. She tries on different shoes which are different size and they don't fit her feet. Two shoes were small and one heel is too big for her to wear.

Max and Miceala try to build up. Micaela keeps asking me to take pictures of the kids playing and building up. I took some pictures.

When Micaela asked me to take a picture, I say, "No more pictures" in sign and my voice a few times. Micaela gestures that her arms holding against her belly and saying that's fine. She is diva. The kids love to see pictures on my digital camera.

I created a layout for a group at Scrapbook.com using Creating Keepsakes 52 Scrapbooking Challenges by Elsie Flannigan. I'm trying to do different layout every week as a group. It's the first time for me to post a layout on Scrapbook.com Gallery for Challenges group. Real neat and fun to do a layout for challenges each week. I wanted to do a layout about Bill because he did everything for me and we love each other to death. So, I did it for a special friendship with Bill. Hope Bill and his wife enjoy this layout. I thought of fingerspell his name on the layout so it meant a lot to me because Bill was very patient with me via email and writing communications.

Max brought a belated birthday cake for me since they haven't got me any cake. My birthday is May 4. Unbelieve it's so belated birthday, but they love to cheer me up.
