We decide not to buy pumpkin at the patch but we enjoy it there. Nancy is going to buy pumpkins at Wal-Mart.

I miss Meggie

July 6, 1992 - October 17, 2007

Meggie was put to sleep due to possible brain tumor after she suffered from seizure. I miss her so much. She was a great companion and I have one of last special moments with Meggie, but I will tell you later. I have a very difficult time right now since I have some pressures with jobs and other things.

I will try to post pictures and to tell you what happens since Max's first day of school soon.

This picture, I choose is the best for using enlarging picture on my wall. It was taken last April.

Very sad

I'm very sad about Meggie today. I never had that kind of sad on one of those days. When I was at cashier at the grocery store, I gave him a smile, but my expression face looks very sad.
So hard to describe my expression feelings about Meggie because I miss her so much and she was very close to me.

Ashley

Ashley and I are home since last night after burying Meggie. I was so exhausted from lack of sleep for 3 nights, Max and Micaela getting me their attentions while I stayed at their house for a week.

Ashley enjoys fetching with ball. Yea, she misses Meggie. It shows that she smells Meggie's urines at the same spot when I took dogs outside. She also smelled her urine inside my house after emergency.

I'm sorry that I didn't do anything for your birthday. It's so difficult for me since Meggie is gone.

Meggie's burial

Buried Meggie at my aunt's property. She is besides Candy's beloved dogs.

So sad and emotions about Meggie.

Ashley misses Meggie

Ashley used to love eating Albert's dog good until after Meggie is gone and she doesn't eat his food. Look at this picture! She knows that Meggie is gone.

Meggie's condition got very worse quickly around 2pm. Had to take her to the vet for putting to sleep. She was put to sleep about 5 minutes before 5pm.
I can't describe how it caused her because it was very hard, but I don't want her to suffer long if I don't let her go.

My dad bought plastic container for Meggie's burial. So, I wrote on top of container saying this:


Meggie,

I know you enjoyed living very happy with me and Ashley. I'll miss you so much especially sleeping or napping with me.

Ashley and Zoe will miss you! I remember you were a puppy and grown up & continued to live until your 15 years old.

You're a wonderful companion. I'm so sorry about your death. I have wonderful moments of you.

Meggie's not doing well

Meggie is still not doing well. It sounds like it's time for her to go. It's very difficult for me because she is very close to me.

Meggie's ill

Taking Meggie to the vet in the morning. She had a bad seizure while I was holding her as we slept. I took her to emergency vet, but they thought she had Epilepsy seizure. Her physical was fine as her heart was still so strong.

When we entered the hospital room, I carried and hold Meggie like a baby. She was laying on my chest while waiting. Her vet checked on her physical as he said that she was fine. He talked with me about preparing for future happenings and that Meggie was 15 years old. It was hard to say about her future.

When I got out of car, Meggie followed me to mailbox and house. She was acting normally.

After 18 hours she had seizure, she had another seizure. I took my dogs to my dad's house for helping me. It was so hard for me as I didn't want to lose Meggie.

Meggie's hopping

When I got home from my dad's house, Meggie was excited to see me. I took dogs outside for bathroom. After Meggie is done with bathroom, she was hopping with her front legs and running with her back legs as she was so happy to see me. I was surprised to see the way she did it. We went inside and were happy to spend time together.

Update:
This is really special moment with Meggie before it happened. I'm so glad she did it for me because it shows that we are very special bond.

Meggie's favorite naps

Meggie loves napping with me. When Meggie sees me laying down from family room, she knows and is so happy to join me for napping together. So sweet of Meggie to be snuggling with me.

Every time, I give Zoe carrot. She grabs them and run away around until she settles down and then she eats.
